The video revolution that started in the mid-2000s has stalled-out, with the very platform that started it alienating viewers and creators alike. Utreon is the first credible challenge to the status quo, with a focus on innovative features, community engagement, reasonable policies, and privacy.
We help coaches grow by turning turning your premium content into private podcasts that deliver more value to your members in less time.
It takes 2 minutes to set up, and the results last a lifetime.
Utreon is still in the Beta phase as of June of 2021. So comparing it to Vimeo is like comparing a pedigree puppy to a full blown show dog. Utreon's strength is in its potential.
I just loaded my first audio into Hiro for our community at Leaderminded.com. Hiro.fm was very simple to set up and our members automatically get an email showing them how to get access to the audio version of our training. Now we can load new audios and they auto-load onto our members devices. Love it!
I just signed up for Hiro.fm and I am super excited. I know the founder personally and she is the subject matter expert in this field. With the explosion of all things audio, with Clubhouse and now Apple Subscription Podcasts, there is no better time than to jump into the audio craze. Even Himalaya has switched audio courses. Join now and become your own audio HIRO.
Based on our record, Utreon seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 6 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
I wrote an article on Medium on Utreon, a free-speech YouTube alternative that is currently in beta, but you can send a proper email to the people in charge to set up your channel on their platform. They can even sync your YouTube channel to the platform with your videos being copied over to their platform in case anything happens on YouTube. If you want to try it out, here is the url: https://utreon.com/. Source: about 2 years ago
I've seen some movement (e.g Forgotten Weapons) towards Utreon, which combines patreon-style subscription with video hosting. Source: over 2 years ago
Now that the dislike button has been removed, for anyone thinking now is a good time to leave YouTube, there’s a platform called Ultreon with a user interface very similar to YouTube’s, especially from 2014-2016ish, with almost none of the restrictions. No ad support at this time but they are working on acquiring that and only need more users on their website Https://utreon.com. Source: over 2 years ago
I think I found today what I am looking for. https://utreon.com/ looks to be a close contender to what I seek. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
Utreon.com could be an option. One thing is, my ad blockers run so deep that if they are throwing ads willy-nilly onto videos I would likely not be able to tell, same as youtube. Source: about 3 years ago
