Sorry for replying so late. I've just now realised how many styles there are that are trying the same thing. But as you said none of them seem to work well with Firefox which is what I've been using. The sidebar is also white for me. I uploaded my style to userstyles.world with the name Duolingo Dark Consistent and am going to try and fix the sidebar right now.
