  • Achieving Success in Online Learning: A Practical Guide
Aside from this, I noticed the 2D game section was written using the Lua programming language, and the 3D game section used the Unity Game engine. Having played around with Lua for a bit, I realised I didn't like using it. There wasn't any rational reason for my dislike. It was mostly vibes but, considering one of my primary goals was entertainment, it was a real issue I had to resolve otherwise I'd likely drop... - Source: dev.to / 1 day ago

Unity. Can't say much. It's the most popular choice for 2D game development. But somehow, my heart wasn't in writing in C#. Also, for some entirely subjective reason, I had a skeptical attitude towards the engine. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
  • My thought on different engines
Sooo. Unity. It's a 3D game engine created by a company of the same name. It was published in 2005 and is one of the most used game engines in the world due to its simplicity, the number of documents, and the easy way to publish games on all platforms. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago

  • Honest opinion on my beginners multiplayer game engine?
The way I see it, modd.io is heavily template-based and restricts flexibility, while pixelpad.io is a python framework and therefore requires coding skills. That being said, I might be slightly biased here, so I'd love to hear how your experience with them has been. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Honest opinion on my beginners multiplayer game engine?
I might have some bias here, but in my opinion, both modd.io and pixelpad.io aren't super intuitive for beginners. There seems to be a lot of engine-specific APIs that you need to learn in order to make anything that deviates from the templates. Maybe you could comment on your experience with these, if you have any? Source: almost 2 years ago
