  • Ask HN: Options for Antivirus for Windows?
I've used ESET NOD32 antivirus for a few years and am very happy with it. It does its job with "dignity" (no Norton-style hyperbolic popups), consumes little resources, and is inexpensive. I'd also like to throw in Windows Ameliorated as an option to a less bloated, more privacy friendly version of Windows.
