As /u/transhumanist2000 said, the only other one I've seen that looked heavily supported and had a sizable following are dot net nuke, and I'd add, Umbraco (https://umbraco.com/). Unfortunately I haven't heard the best of feedback about these cmses. Source: over 1 year ago
I really like Umbraco (https://umbraco.com/), It has a decent community, and is on DotNetCore these days makes it very easy to use. You can setup most basic things yourself, but since it exists as a satellite to your site. You can integrate with it as deeply or not as you want. Plus the workflow for defining content is nice, the customer-facing UI is also slick, and adding custom elements to it and extending is... Source: over 1 year ago
Because of this, the Umbraco HQ created the Umbraco Heartcore project that builds upon the existing Umbraco CMS by adding a headless integration in GraphQL. The only problem with this solution is the pricing. Because Umbraco CMS is open-source and free to use, you might see this product solution as a barrier to entry. Umbraco is the one I was thinking of in terms of popularity and being free and open (the self hosted version at least, they have a paid for cloud solution as well). Source: over 2 years ago
I work for an open source .NET CMS Umbraco and I wanted to investigate the snazzy new feature of GitHub Codespaces and VSCode remote container development. - Source: dev.to / about 3 years ago
I have an 11 GB VPS with Windows on it, and it’s running perfectly. I 100% recommend this hosting, because of it’s pricing and support. I give $8.25 a month for an 11 GB VPS. Which would cost up to $55 a month on popular hosting providers like, Linode, Vultr, and Digital Ocean. Source: almost 2 years ago
Anyone that hosts a server using the cloud provider linode.com Do you encounter any limits regarding the CPU speed? Source: almost 2 years ago
One of my best recommendations is to spin up a linux server in the cloud, you can do it for free for a few months from linode.com for example. Setting up an online server for a game you like playing can also be a rewarding learning experience for networking and Linux in general. Source: almost 2 years ago
Then you can buy a VPS from linode.com, katapult.io, contabo.com or hetzner.cloud, I'd recommend a 4gb VPS, and in order to run, it has to be over 2gb. For the OS, choose AlmaLinux or a supported version of CentOS. Source: about 2 years ago
Use VPS, don't use shared web hosting when you generate content as it tends to use lots of resources like RAM, CPU %, and storage. I'd recommend hetzner.com, contabo.com, or linode.com. Source: about 2 years ago
