Search for specific products to get around 'the great firewall' an alternative to paid for which I used when I worked in Beijing for a few weeks was an https tunnel back to my own PC at home using https://www.stunnel.org/static/stunnel.html then used an encrypted VNC connection with https://uvnc.com/ the encryption is a plugin also on their site as I recall.
