  • TeamViewer alternatives?
With the fallout from FUD with TeamViewer, Management at the company I'm at has blocked TeamViewer. However, we have vendors that need access, and as long as it's not TeamViewer we have the OK to proceed forward. Some of my workmates are going for UltraViewer, does have the same results? • Is Ultraviewer a worthy alternative to TeamViewer?
So, I've been searching for TeamViewer alternatives and the only one that seems to be on par is UltraViewer. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Closest Teamviewer alternative.
So (also we are a non-profit, though it seems like most of these companies don't really give discounts) what is the software that has the closest to the ease of use and functionality of TeamViewer? And somewhat affordable (affordable equals a max of $500 a year, preferably allows as much as the free TeamViewer version does. I have been told to use UltraViewer, would you guys recommend it? Has anyone else used it?... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Teamviewer alternative
Not sure if I should post this here. I'm looking for an alternative to Teamviewer, I would prefer a free opensource alternative but doesn't have to be. I would like it to be just an executable that they click on and I'm connected. I have tried Anydesk, and Parsec but I have not been satisfied. I am yet to try UltraViewer, I have heard it’s good, and I am hoping it will work. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Source: about 2 years ago

  • What DCIM Software to use
OpenDCIM is antiquated but its data model is quite sane. Its PDU monitoring is very basic but serviceable - the managers loved it. It is barely maintained and its old fashioned PHP does it no favor, so I advise to steer clear of it... But it does work. Source: over 1 year ago
  • IT Pro Tuesday #152 - Secure Backup, Python Course, Remote Device Management & More
OpenDCIM is designed for simple, complete data-center asset tracking. Offers support for multiple rooms; management of space, power and cooling; basic contact management and integration into existing business directory via UserID; fault tolerance; computation of center of gravity for each cabinet; template management for devices (with ability to override per device); optional tracking of cable connections within...
