iTop is an Open Source web application for the day to day operations of an IT environment. iTop was designed with the ITIL best practices in mind but does not dictate any specific process, the application is flexible enough to adapt to your processes whether you want rather informal and pragmatic processes or a strict ITIL aligned behaviour.
The belief behind iTop is that a CMDB must be an operational tool. The only way for a CMDB to be accurate and up to date is to be used day-to-day by the IT teams (support agents, IT engineers, etc.). Moreover, the more the CMDB is integrated with other IT tools (monitoring systems, reporting tools, automated inventory, etc.), the better.

Based on our record, UltraViewer seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 14 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
With the fallout from FUD with TeamViewer, Management at the company I'm at has blocked TeamViewer. However, we have vendors that need access, and as long as it's not TeamViewer we have the OK to proceed forward. Some of my workmates are going for UltraViewer, does have the same results? So, I've been searching for TeamViewer alternatives and the only one that seems to be on par is UltraViewer. Source: about 2 years ago
So (also we are a non-profit, though it seems like most of these companies don't really give discounts) what is the software that has the closest to the ease of use and functionality of TeamViewer? And somewhat affordable (affordable equals a max of $500 a year, preferably allows as much as the free TeamViewer version does. I have been told to use UltraViewer, would you guys recommend it? Has anyone else used it?... Source: about 2 years ago
Not sure if I should post this here. I'm looking for an alternative to Teamviewer, I would prefer a free opensource alternative but doesn't have to be. I would like it to be just an executable that they click on and I'm connected. I have tried Anydesk, and Parsec but I have not been satisfied. I am yet to try UltraViewer, I have heard it’s good, and I am hoping it will work. Do you guys have any other suggestions? Source: about 2 years ago
Does anyone have any experience with the alternatives? We have been asked to switch to UltraViewer, has anyone used it before? Does it yield the same results? Source: about 2 years ago
