  • Best Productivity Hacks for Developers
There are multiple skills that will upscale your development journey and provide you with a better command of your role as a developer. Some of them are learning multiple programming languages, computer proficiency, problem-solving, adaptability, debugging, etc. To polish most of the skills, you can go for a decent certification program with which you will not only learn a skill but also get a certificate to... - Source: dev.to / 4 days ago
  • Bought my first laptop for my education after years of being homeless, hope I invested my money right.
CS is computer science. Also check out edx.com It is hosted by Harvard and if you pay for the course which is very little you get a certificate from them. There is also groupings of courses were you can get a business certificate. Also check out udemy.com. Wait for the specials for $10-15. I have heard that google has certificates that are free but that businesses except. Just try stuff and even look at skills... Source: 12 months ago
  • Rant - Anyone else having trouble finding a job?
Core coding and IT skills are a must though. Pick a language you followed and liked at Uni, check there is decent job demand for it, and do a udemy.com course on it (great value, great content, very cheap). Pair this with a major cloud (Azure or AWS) qualification which is pretty much a must these days, and you're much more attractive as an applicant. Source: 12 months ago
  • Tech careers that won’t be taken over by AI?
Prompting is so new I don't think a degree is offered yet, but Microsoft has some accredited classes (FREE) - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/ and you can get a certificate on AI and chatGPT from https://udemy.com , I got a few from them :). Source: 12 months ago

  • Will ChatGPT Replace Google Search?
Instead, there's fertile ground for a lot of products that can utilize the power of both technologies to create truly amazing products. There are already some ChatGPT Chrome extensions that integrate with Google search. And then, then there's Chatsonic, a blend of ChatGPT powers, Google Knowledge Graph, and some proprietary AI technology. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Bill Gates says OpenAI’s GPT is the most important advance in technology since 1980
ChatGPT specifically is at a dumb stage. It works so hard to sound smart that it doesn't care enough to actually be smart. ChatGPT 4 will flat out make stuff up to try to please the audience. But versions 5, 6 and beyond will be much better. And there are bots today that do a much better job, like Chatsonic that combines the power of ChatGPT with a custom engine that tries to validate information through Google... • I just got access to Bing's ai and I already hate it. chatGPT is way more thorough. Bing gave up on me almost immediately.
But there are some alternatives, right? I was testing Chatsonic and it works well (but it's limited). In a few days or months, the IA scenario maybe will be completely different. Source: over 1 year ago
  • The three things everyone is complaining about, half solved
The biggest thing people are complaining about is the restrictiveness and its inability to look online. You.com can look online and may be less restrictive (I don't think it's weaker, it just approaches problems with a different angle, so it can't really write long 5 paragraph essays), and you also don't have to log in. Same with https://writesonic.com/chat, however you do have a limit, and I found it's weaker... Source: over 1 year ago
