I tried this once a day, but always got 403 forbidden error. The udemy-dl repo has been archived, and the author won't support it any more. Can anyone here kindly help? Thank you! Source: over 2 years ago
If the course doesn't use DRM then https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl otherwise https://github.com/Puyodead1/udemy-downloader and https://github.com/Satsuoni/widevine-l3-guesser with downgraded CDM to 2209 (might stop working on Udemy in the future though, but it still works for now). Thanks for the response. I was looking at using Udemy-dl https://github.com/r0oth3x49/udemy-dl and downloading the courses using the access token in the cookies.txt file instead of logging in using my account details. Would this be safer? I might try using IDM and see if anything happens if I download 1 course. Source: over 2 years ago
Udemy-dl is a good option (here I published the steps). Source: over 2 years ago
Freecodecamp provides 10+ free web development courses in JavaScript, Python, front-end, and back-end that are more than enough to kickstart any developer's career. Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. Start small and stay away from bootcamps (my 2 cents). - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago

An effective way to improve your JavaScript skills is working through coding challenges and exercises. Sites like ReviewNPrep, FreeCodeCamp, and HackerRank have tons of challenges that allow you to practice JavaScript concepts by building mini-projects and solving problems. These hands-on challenges force you to apply what you learn. Source: 6 months ago
Was thinking to put certificates, but those are what I earned from platform such as freeCodeCamp.org's backend api development, not sure if it's good to list in resume or not. Source: 8 months ago
