Download it from https://design.ubuntu.com/font/, extract the archive, drop the folder into ~/.local/share/fonts/ (or /usr/local/share/fonts/ for it to be available system-wide), run fc-cache for good measure, done. Source: about 2 years ago

It took me years to switch from Ubuntu Mono[1] to IBM Plex Mono[2] but now I feel like I'm never gonna change fonts again. I gave Cascadia a try but it feels way too bold. On paper it looks like a really cool project but after I've installed it it felt like all my code was shouting at me (I mean even more than usual), it was disturbing. PHP results: Is Hack still popular with PHP people? I was stupid enough to write some scientific code in PHP once so know how slow it can be. But if your going to do try write performant code in PHP use the HHVM interpreter. It's much faster.
