They're advertising on this sub? They can go fuck themselves. I've got ad-blocking enabled (and mods can't see ads on their own subs anyway) so I had no idea. I super recommend ublock origin for ad and content blocking. - Source: Reddit / 9 months ago
No, it does not. It's open source and non profit. If you want you could make your own adblock with it's source code. https://github.com/gorhill/ublock. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
Firefox has its own "Enhanced Tracking Protection", Which is eclipsed by pretty much any specialized content blocker (such as uBlock Origin). Anyone who cares for that stuff has probably turned it off And installed a better extension for that, And for people who don't, well, it's completely unnecessary. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
There are also regular adblockers for your phone too, (but I’m not an expert on those either haha). I personally use AdGuard, but there could be better ones out there that I don’t know of. - Source: Reddit / 7 days ago
Another way of tackling ads among others is using AdGuard (Wiki/Official Website ). The application sets up a local VPN, which filters all traffic including intrusive ads and online tracking and to protect from malware. - Source: Reddit / 7 days ago
As for adguard, you must download it from their website: https://adguard.com/en/welcome.html. - Source: Reddit / 9 days ago
If you're accessing from your mobile, I'd highly recommend getting Ad Guard. They're doing a St Patrick's day special today, which is 40% off - I'd recommend grabbing a lifetime license so there's no subscription involved. - Source: Reddit / 9 days ago
I tried Blokada, just didn't stick for me so instead I use AdGuard this is NOT the one available in the Play Store. - Source: Reddit / 20 days ago
