This tool is recommended for hobbyists, content creators, or anyone needing to remove vocals from music tracks for karaoke or remix purposes. It's especially useful for users who require a quick and easy solution without expertise in audio engineering.
It has a lot of voices, which I do like, but most of them are really bad. A lot of the time, they just start muttering gibberish halfway through the sentence I get them to speak, and it's very annoying. Also, the voices sound very robotic and forced. Compare that to 15.ai where the voices sound natural, and you can even choose what emotions you want to be conveyed in speaking. Uberduck is a cool concept, but needs MAJOR improvement.
VocalRemover.org might be a bit more popular than Uberduck. We know about 248 links to it since March 2021 and only 216 links to Uberduck. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

I think that's just an artifact, as they can also produce heavy metal scream singing etc. It just mimics something that was in the training data. My guess is that they train the vocals and the music separately, the training data is trivial to create from any tracks with tools like with https://vocalremover.org/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Unfortunately I just went the boring route and used vocal remover hahaha. Source: over 1 year ago
