  The funny thing is, with the pandemic, you'd figure that we'd all be binging content off of it constantly, but only one of us does. The other two (including me) barely use it. There are some breakout hits (like Wednesday) that were "gotta see", but I've got Amazon Prime (for the shipping), my condo has a deal with Bell so we get Crave, and there's Plex.tv, Pluto, Tubi, and of course Youtube all for free.   So it definitely happens on the HBO Max app from the play store, but does NOT happen when I stream from play.hbomax.com in fullscreen...weird stuff...but also I don't remember ever seeing anything about a 480p limit from streaming apps, and the HBO Max app is definitely higher resolution than that, it looks exactly the same from the app to the website...thanks for the tip though, I guess I'll just use the websites... • Why you have the option for just HBO without max for the same price for max?
