I would look into the Truly Ergonomic Cleave as an option. It comes with really smooth optoelectric switches in three flavors and is very comfortable. Half height keycaps are hideous. Our Cleave has two separate clusters with full size keycaps, much more usable and comfortable. Source: over 2 years ago

RemoteMouse (remotemouse.net) I did it through wifi, there's no noticeable lag. It has left-click if you hold, and rightclick if you press hard or hold long (but that didn't work as well). Source: over 1 year ago
