You could build a seed box out of a old ARM board running the Transmission daemon and a USB key mounted read only to avoid wear; power draw would be just a few watts and total cost could be less than 50 bucks. The desktop would be needed only when adding torrents or changing configuration from its web interface, although Transmission also has remote control apps... - Source: Hacker News / 3 days ago
Grab this file. Install Transmission on Mac or Deluge on Win. Optional: run a VPN if you're in the US(mostly) and worried about your ISP sending you a cease-and-desist notice. Open the file using the app you installed. Wait. It should start within a minute or two and download progress will be seen. Speed depends on how many people are sharing it. Any issues, let me know. Transmission can run as a headless server with a web gui. Source: about 1 year ago
Get a VPN like Windscribe(set windscribe firewall to on instead of auto), forward your port via their website. Use a good torrent client like https://transmissionbt.com/ set that port in the options, and add a blocklist https://github.com/Naunter/BT\_BlockLists/raw/master/bt\_blocklists.gz. Workaround is NOT to use the Finder but a replacement such as the much better and much more sophisticated Path Finder by Cocoatech or others you can find on macupdate.com If you use a different file manager recent folders do not appear with a right-click on the Finder app. Does this help? Interesting thread, actually I was looking for a method to create web applications and thanks to you I have the answer. As for your question, I see one major difference, only flotato is optimized for apple silicon and updated fairly, unity and fluid haven't been refreshed for years - I'm relying on data from macupdate.com. I used to find a link to Macupdate.com to download the products, now you go to the Apple Store and everything is "signed" by apple. You can still go to macupdate.com to get other apps, but like the "old ages" it is up to you to discern if the app is legit. Source: over 1 year ago
So I went to macupdate.com, they have v2.5.1, downloaded and opened it. Source: over 2 years ago
You can alway uninstall using the "AppCleaner" by Freemacsoft at macupdate.com. Or "App Cleaner & Uninstaller" from Nektony. And then start over. Where did you get your Adobe installer? Source: over 2 years ago
