I figured there must be something better, so next time I needed to do translation (for a smaller shop with more stable products, admittedly), I went for TranslatePress since I could choose my own stack. WAAAAY better. The front-end editing WYSIWIG sort of interface is so much more intuitive for the people managing the content, and after an initial training sesh I haven't had to answer a single question from anyone... Do you have access to Microsoft products? They have an appthat students can add to a device that will translate your spoken words into text (you have to have the app or website open as well). There are several other Microsoft translation tools that would also work in different ways, which you may be able to use without a Microsoft license.
