5 Best Sites for Booking Tours Worldwide
TourRadar has a selection of multi-day tour packages in destinations around the world, from Beijing to Mumbai, Santiago, Moscow and even tours going through Little Rock Arkansas. The tours are full packages, meaning they aren’t for travellers looking for a simple day trip or tickets. The tours take care of everything from hotels, buses, and even choose where you will eat in...

5 Best Small Group Tour Companies for International Travel around the World
Something that I think is really cool about Tourradar is that they have a section with the best festival tours around the world – like the Tomatina in Spain, Exit in Serbia, Oktoberfest in Germany, and even tours to Carnival in Rio de Janeiro!!

  • Taking leave overseas
If time permits, and you're close enough, I can't recommend Machu Picchu enough, but plan ahead as you'll need tickets. Plenty of tour operators with various routes and itineraries, find one that appeals to you and go that way (I used tourradar.com which worked well, but there's tons out there). There's lots of other awesome attractions as well, and you'll be with locals who know the best ones so take advantage of... Source: over 2 years ago
  • Exploring USA without a car
My suggestion would be is to check if there are tour companies going to the national parks you interested in and join one of the groups. As a starting point I would suggest to check out tourradar.com, they collect the offerings of other tour companies. I had no problems with them, but you can book directly with the tour company if you want. Check the ages as the age limited ones like 18-39 are more for hiking /... Source: almost 3 years ago

  • Average PCMR member
I would assume that Microsoft has some presence in these kinds of spaces as well (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/iot/), but I find that there is a fairly low barrier to entry as far as learning how to manipulate linux well enough to build this type of functionality yourself. Or you can just as easily use the same knowledge to setup your desktop how you like it or whatever. They're the same thing... Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Why can an ad break the Windows 11 desktop and taskbar?
It does, but Microsoft doesn't consider that to be a "home user" use-case. Instead, in their minds, it's a use-case exclusively of interest to embedded-device system integrators: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/iot/. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Scam protection using a Raspberry Pi to perform caller ID and risk-assess incoming calls
I originally stumbled across what looks like a silver bullet device for caller ID, the Artech AD102. This is a HID device though, not serial like a USB modem and requires DLLs to use. The node-hid package looked a plausible candidate here, but it became rapidly clear that the AD102 must be switched into a kind of "open for questions" mode to get responses out of it, mandating use of the DLLs. Those DLLs are only... - Source: dev.to / almost 3 years ago
