I came across this project after seeing a mod for the game Balatro [1] that used the artwork from the original Solitaire sourced from this repo. The README was so wholesome I thought. The developer obviously put a lot of care and attention into creating something they're proud of and hoped others would enjoy. I spent countless hours playing the DF2 demo that came on one of the computer magazine CDs in India (PC Quest I think). Does it actually work though? Ironically my experience is that windows api + proton are a more stable target than anything linux native. Even valve doesn't get it always right when shipping linux versions of their own games. Other games have a second layer of prestige, but one of the factors for how the second prestige points are calculated or the requirement to do the second layer of prestige is based on how many times it has been done before, so doing it before intended too many times will halt progress, and delaying it longer than expected will result in faster and faster progress (games I can think of are War Clicks, Idle Space...
