If you don't have work experience but have a good portfolio, then apply to the studios directly. Websites like gamedevmap.com or glassdoor are your friend. That said, once you've had a game-dev job it gets much, much, much easier to find other game dev jobs, so working at a smaller company (even a mobile game company) for a year can help you finding the job you want further down the line.
