  3.The only way I've come across to document the amount of time spent is to use timesheets or time tracking softwares. Some examples of time tracking softwares are Toggl, Hubstaff, and Time Doctor.   I might be doing this wrong but I only put the URL to the job site (i.e., indeed.com, ziprecruiter.com) because I wasn't able to fit the whole URL due to character limits. I think as long as you have the company name, job site, and job title that you applied for, you should be okay. I haven't used zip recruiter but you should also have some record of the application in your account. Source: almost 4 years ago
