True, this, and all one has to do is look at solar noon altitudes from any place on earth on web sites like timeanddate.com. It helps when anybody local can verify these numbers (I used them to build a sundial so discrepancies would be noticed). Source: 11 months ago

Funny. I came to the opposite conclusion. I kept https://everytimezone.com/ after trying parent and a few others in the thread. For eyeball time picks to drive min inconvenience for a group, every tz (after customizing for my tz of choice) was just easier.
