Not completely sure about your situation but if you choose the "buy now, pay later" option you could have a 21 day test period so you can see if it works for you. Personally, it seems it would fit you perfectly and if the S pen doesn't have the same notification feature you can use a tile to keep track of it if it's ever lost. I hope this helped! I used OTP Auth.app (https://cooperrs.de/otpauth.html) for many a while years on iOS and then on macOS too. Now I've mostly transitioned to using the built in OTP handling in Keychain. Every so often I find one I haven't migrated across yet. Another option is HE's NetWork Tools iOS app, which also has an OTP Authenticator in it.
