Tickeys VS Typewrite Something

I want my mac keyboard to sound like a mechanical keyboard. So instead of buying another keyboard I decided to use this free software called Tickeys, I installed it, and the app is working fine as it should, it is making mechanical keyboard sounds when I type, but when I quit the app, it is still accessing my microphone, I know because of the yellow dot on my mac screen. You can use one of the many typewriter simulators that exist in order to approximate this, but I suspect that isn't going to be close enough. Is After Effects an option for you? Source: about 2 years ago

However, there are typewriter simulators online, like this one, or this one. Perhaps you could just type it yourself whilst running a video capture app. There are many other typewriter simulators out there - surely one of them will do the job. Source: over 2 years ago
