You need to find one that embeds your URL into your QR Code, then they have no capability to modify or change it on the back-end. I use this somewhat less sketchy German website: the-qrcode-generator.com for my wife's marketing material because it uses my URL in my QR Code without being a middle man resolver. I don't think you need to be a holder of both. I put my mom on my Wells Fargo account and she sent to my account. There is also https://wise.com/us/ . This one I have used to send to someones account in Vietnam. It does have slightly higher fee. But it goes straight into their account.
