Check out The Photographer's Ephemeris. It shows direction of the sun and moon and gives you blue hour times plus a lot more. A lot of great info for planning outdoor photography. Source: 11 months ago

Check something like the app The Photographer's Ephemeris for the date and pick a pulloff on the Foothills Parkway that gives you the sun either over the mountains at sunrise or sunset or over the valley at sunset where you want it. Source: almost 1 year ago

?????. Don’t listen to these people. You need to ask in another sub, of course the direct sun will affect, your garden, your house, your enjoyment. The sun here switches a couple of degrees in winter cause we’re close to the equator. http://suncalc.net/ , use this app to get your sun exposure if you know the exact location of your plot, you resale value will be higher. Http://suncalc.net or similar app on a mobile should help. E.g. Currently there might be a view from righ-bank lighthouse where Daugava river runs into the sea. Or from Stone bridge in Riga right through the railway bridge. Source: over 1 year ago
