I'd suggest looking at something like this. Meeting Owl It's ideal for small space and would probally work for your need. Other then that, go for a Logitech Meetup Cam and get the extended microphone. I use both of these in our spaces since not all cameras are ideal for all rooms. Source: over 1 year ago

You could retire it to a personal surveillance camera with haven (needs a sim for registration though). With root, you could even set a charging limit so the battery doesn't die. Source: about 2 years ago
