Although I've been a fan of playing Text Adventures since I was a youngen, I've never dabbled in trying to create one of my own before. Recently I've been teaching myself how to use Quest 5 to create my own sci-fi adventure that's set on an abandoned spaceship. Stereotypical concept granted but I'm fascinated with most things sci-fi. I think Quest (the program available at textadventures.co.uk) works that way, inserting objects, descriptions and connections through a menu with no coding. It doesn't have the flexibility of Inform, TADS, etc., but it might a good option for what you're looking for. Source: over 1 year ago

It's very easy to make, all you have to do is make an account on kahoot.com. Unfortunately there's some features that you have to pay to use :( but the basic multiple choice quiz game is free, and that's gone over very well in my SHS classes. Source: about 1 year ago
