TestOs Reviews

  1. Amazing cloud hosted End-to-End Automated Testing Platform

We were using emulators for Testing applications. But emulators provided only basic analytics of the app performance. The emulator cannot provide CPU and Memory insights like a real device. We were facing many issues in real-time data like GPS, Sensors and gestures, so we opted for TestGrid's TestOS. TestGrid’s Device cloud provides testing on real devices which gives detailed reports on CPU and Memory usage statistics. This solved our problem.

TestGrid is a really Cost-effective platform for Automated testing. One of the few platforms which provides enhanced results with an easily understandable Feedback system.

👍 Pros:    Testos is based on rrr (resolve risk rapidly) so you can easily ensure your app's performance with testos, which is built around a custom robust strategy. in addition, you can proficiently conduct performance testing using the testos tool that is way ahead of many of the commercial tools in the industry.|Codeless testing along with a special feature of adding custom scripts upon the user’s wishes. the situation may arise sometimes when we have complex requirements, this can be resolved by adding custom scripts. this makes the product more flexible.
👎 Cons:    Dependency on the internet. as this product is completely cloud hosted, it cannot be accessed in the absence of the internet unless it is deployed locally.
  2. Amazing TestCase Handling and Efficient

Writing test cases without scripts is so easy that even a person without technical skills would be able to understand and add / modify test cases Detailed reporting from transaction analysis to network logs, everything you need and more

👍 Pros:    Everything is available at once (testing, devices)|All the reports are saved and can be used for future reference
👎 Cons:    At first, the ui was not good but now it has been changed, also it was way slower and still can be improved. the error prompt should be more clear
  3. Best tools for Mobile and Web testing

Easy navigation. Test Data Management. Flexible Supports for Automation Testing

👍 Pros:    It provides tap and select navigation for creating test cases which are easy to access by anyone.|Its parallel execution on multiple devices makes the testing on devices with different specifications at once and that reduces the time of testing on each device individually.
👎 Cons:    No cons that i could think of…

  • Emulator images for Samsung devices?
Your best option are probably real device testing sites like e.g. https://saucelabs.com/. Source: 12 months ago
  • Simulate your website across many devices all in the same browser tab! Proof of concept for a micro saas I'm building in public :)
There are service like this one. https://saucelabs.com/ is one. There used to be browser plugins to simulate a different browser. But as we found out over time: simulates devices aren't true to the real thing, so often you'll just simply run into problems in the simulated device ce that don't occur on the real device, or vice versa. • Tool for app testing?!
If so, check out Sauce Labs' Sauce Connect Proxy -- it's a built-in HTTP proxy server that opens a secure tunnel connection for testing between a Sauce Labs virtual machine or a real device and a website or a mobile app hosted on your local computer (localhost) or behind a corporate firewall. • TestProject is closing down
But it also meant that the only option to run your tests was to use your localhost or to connect to a third party cross-browser cloud provider (BrowserStack, SauceLabs, etc). - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
