On Android, I run servers under Termux, e.g., DNS and HTTPS proxy. Another use is checking email without using a browser or an app. I use a tiny shell script to check for new mail with openssl. It prints out the messages to the terminal as plain text. Termux has good scrolling so its easy enough to read. So far I have only seen information that ncurses is a package you would use to write applications for various terminals; what about the terminals themselves? Iterm2, gnome terminal, xterm, Konsole, macos Terminal, powershell, command, etc.. these all provide a common API which we normally use curses to interface with.
