I tell them they need to watch short videos, say from ed.ted.com, then do 30 mins of reading English, reading out loud to themselves. I say do this daily and ask about words unknown, or contexts, and see what happens. The ones who really want to learn come back speaking better english, after a while of course. I was switching because my CachyOS installation had started to feel "broken", I mean, I had this issue where my browsers were not able to cross 10FPS in running even simple flash games, and wix.com's website builder.
