AdBlocker Ultimate seems to be the best AdBlocker extension I've found for Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and it seems to be even better than Edge's built-in AdBlocker. Unfortunately, however, it's sometimes nearly impossible to block these types of Adware since doing so might be considered as a 'click' and cause another unwanted popup to happen.
