Rn, I'm working on ditching Microsoft's spyware OS for good. I'm amazed how when I run TCPView, the system is silent on the network; Windows 10 talks to every Tom, Dick and Harry. Most open-source apps on my Linux system (OnlyOffice --> better MS Office compatibility for school, GIMP, Kdenlive) are also silent too. The only one I found chattering was VS Code lol. The instance email address is tied to the instance name. Rename the instance and the email address also changes. You cannot change the email address otherwise. However, as mentioned, you can have a custom email address [something@yourdomain.com](mailto:something@yourdomain.com) forward to the instance email address.
