• What made you switch to linux?

  I think CMD and bash are nearly equivalent. It was Take Command I said I liked. It would take a lot to describe what was so good about it, but take a look at the features of TCC-LE, the free non-gui version of Take Command.   Take a look at Take Command. To get the best sense of the feature set you should look at the help file. I've been using it for 30 years and having to use bash is a real chore by comparison. Has bash even been upgraded in 30 years? Source: over 2 years ago
