• Do I need to file CA taxes? (Nomadic, worked in CA for 35 days)

  When filing with taxhawk.com it estimates that I neither owe CA tax nor am I due a refund from CA. Does this mean I'm no longer obligated to file taxes in CA? Source: about 2 years ago

  Filing really isn't a big deal, though; there's software that makes it easy. And you don't need to pay any (Turbotax, H&R Block, TaxAct) ridiculous overpriced charges, either; freetaxusa.com, or taxhawk.com only charge $0.00 for the federal, $15 for the State, and are just as easy to use, IMO.
