Splacer is an extremely unprofessional service that does not uphold any legal standards it sets forth or ones required for professional production. It also does not have a team which diligently assists if trouble are to occur. My film production has taken a financial hit due to fraudulent contract that Splacer set forth. Apparently, the initial price that you book with is and the initial contract can easily be changed without any reason. This platform breeds a space for scammers and unfortunately my production has been a victim of that. Splacer holds no accountability or responsibility for fraud that is evidently present.

But, the results might be mediocre...meaning, the recommendations... Source: almost 3 years ago
I have been asked to build a recommender system for TV shows at large scale, meaning thousands of users across the entire libraries of services like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. Something like taste.io but completely focussed on TV shows and not movies. My main concern is the complexity of this project, I have read up on recommender systems, and they seem fairly straightforward, its the scale that scares me. Source: almost 3 years ago
