Tails is a security-focused Linux distro that (by default) only runs as a live-USB and is not meant to be used as a traditional daily-driver. As you've probably understood by now, it's a 'limited' system for the sake of security and privacy. They then take like 1 week to get to you and asks for your phone number to send the password, but they never send it to your phone number but instead sends you the link to your password (which was a https://onetimesecret.com/ link) and a .7z file with ur data. Source: 12 months ago
