Symbaloo mentions (1)

  • Organization blocks setting own startpage in Chrome
I can't think of a reason why this is -security wise- a reason to stuck to only the companies' Office 365-splash page as everyones default startpage. My gut feeling says that enabling a 2nd tab (with a startpage I can set) is not very different to me opening a 2nd tab myself and starting my own prefered startpage (symbaloo.com). But that's probably my simplistic way of thinking. Source: over 2 years ago

This is what iGoogle used to be! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IGoogle You could add your own RSS feed, weather, etc and it used to be awesome. Used to be my "home" tab for many years, before google decided to do away with it. It appears there's a "replacement" now. https://igoogleportal.com/ Definitely going to try this one out. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Google.com tests a busier home page with a row of info cards
I just thought that too. I used to use it quite a lot. Googling for iGoogle turns up igoogleportal.com[0] as the top result. [0] https://igoogleportal.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
