This might be a really dumb question...but is it possible to have a small/medium personal solar kit that I can use for power during the peak hours to save money on electricity? I'm renting my property so I don't think I can get a big solar panel kit installed by a big company with all the wiring and battery installation, and thousands of dollars that it is probably going to cost, etc. But I found something like... That number might be an error has I got it from roofr.com estimates however I know the back addition of my house has low plane roofing which I think can't be shingled? It currently has shingles on it now but I think it's not to code. Source: about 2 years ago

Happy to give pictures or PM you with more information. I am still learning this but I ran a roofr.com roof inspection report to get a better estimate of materials and actual size since none of the reports I got from roofing companies gave me anything. Source: about 2 years ago
