  • Hello Stenographers!!! I am working on a technology solution and need your help!
For example, I'm writing this comment from a Stenograph Luminex II which is transmitting steno data over Wi-Fi to my computer running Plover. I can then send the translated output to something like StreamText, which is how I would get them to show up on a screen. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Anyone here have experience encoding a multilanguage captions stream?
This is how my company did it earlier this year. GlobalMeet Webinar supports iframes, we set up 3 different iframes for the 3 different languages (run through streamtext.net). Source: about 3 years ago

  • 16 YR old looking for online jobs I can do.
Captioning seems like a great place to start. You can try some beginner friendly sites like transcribeme.com captionpro.us 3playmedia.com. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Is there any way to subtitle faster when receiving new media?
There are services such as 3playmedia.com that can transcribe within 2 hours of upload and deliver a .VTT or other subtitle/caption file (whatever is required for captions in your editing software). Our company has a monthly contract with them. They do a good job. There's an option to edit the text in their word editor if needed after they have transcribed. Good luck. Source: about 3 years ago
