Strapi is a popular, flexible, and open-source headless CMS that enables us to create rich digital experiences. Strapi provides REST and GraphQL APIs developers can use to access the content stored in its repository.
Best Headless CMS for 2020
Valid argument. But what is the alternative? Strapi on a server with a Database? What about doing backups? Isn't it even more complicated? In a git-based CMS you can at least undo all changes, which isn't that easy with a database.

  • How to Build an AI FAQ System with Strapi, LangChain & OpenAI
Strapi provides a centralized data managing platform. This makes it easier to organize, update, and maintain the FAQ data. It also automatically generates a RESTful API for accessing the content stored in its database. - Source: dev.to / 13 days ago
  • Ask HN: Best OSS SQL Query Builder in Any Language
Https://prisma.io is popular as I understand it. I've been trying out https://strapi.io the last week and am thoroughly impressed. They both do much more than build queries. One big thing both do is automate database migration calculations. Strapi goes further and gives you a CMS and admin UI on top, as well as doing a lot more of the complex query building from a json object. Both still require a fundamental... - Source: Hacker News / 27 days ago
  • Different flavors of content management
A headless one is responsible only for data management and providing an API for other applications to show this data. When talking about headless CMS, Strapi or Sanity comes to my mind first, but there are many more. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
  • I need recommendations for creating an API. Start from scratch, or are there projects I can build from?
I initially looked into CMS's like Strapi and Directus to possibly handle my admin UI + API all at once. I haven't found anything that looks like it can do this yet, but I'd be very happy to be proven wrong. I would prefer it to be based in .NET or Node.js since I am more familiar with those, but there's no reason I couldn't do PHP either. Source: 9 months ago
  • Backend without coding?
I would recommend using Headless CMS with no-to-low code techs like Strapi. With Strapi you can build backend using only the user interface. Therefore your API backend code changes by itself. My website is built with Strapi as backend and Nextjs as frontend. Source: 10 months ago

  • Recipe app recommendations?
I love RecipeKeeper. I believe it is very similar to Paprika and I think you can try both for free. They are NOT subscription based, so their prices are both damn low and worth it. Source: 10 months ago
  • Can anyone compare experiences with Copy Me That and Paprika?
Just to add to the mix, Recipe Keeper is very similar to Paprika. I think they each have one or two things the other doesn't. You need to pay for each device it's on, but it's not a lot of money and the sync is perfect. You should be able to free trial it. https://recipekeeperonline.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
  • How does one create a cookbook? softwares or applications?
I'd suggest taking a look at Recipe Keeper. There may be a free trial for X time or X number of recipes. But it's only about $5 per device. It's a fantastic way to capture and save recipes and it has a feature to create cookbooks from it. You can create a pdf for easy printing and sharing. It even has OCR (optical character recognition) so if you have old recipes from magazines or in cookbooks, you just take a... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Best app to store recipes?
I'm a huge fan of Recipe Keeper. I believe it and Paprika are very similar and everyone seems to love them both. They aren't free, but they are reasonably priced. I know Recipe Keeper is not subscription priced - it's one time only. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How do you keep recipes?
What I use now is an app called Recipe Keeper. It's easy to use and I haven't found any glitches in the code. You can import recipes straight from the web, or photos. You can share links to the recipe(s), grocery lists, and meal planning schedules, via email or text. And you can transfer your profile from one phone to another. There is a trial version where you get a limited number of recipes. And a full-featured... Source: over 1 year ago
