There are 3rd party apps like Steer Mouse that let you re-assign buttons/shortcuts on a Mac, but I haven’t used them in a long while, so can’t really speak to compatibility. Source: 12 months ago

Very useful program, but god the UI is so bad.. As if it was designed for a touchscreen interface, and yet still poorly done, doesn't respect your aspect ratio, wastes ton of empty space, and the transition animation looks jarring Gnome UX is killing the linux fun to me..
