  • Reading. One. Word. At. A. Time
Spritz does pretty much just that - take the content on a page and shows a popup with just one word at a time. https://spritz.com/ I find my eyes to feel a bit strained after using this for a while though. Source: about 1 year ago

A way better version of this is https://spritz.com/ but the principle is the same. Source: about 1 year ago

I see you're providing several different ways to read. Have you considered adding something like https://spritz.com (there are many clones as well). I find it really helps with reading speed, but it's never something I remember to use. I think if it was integrated with a service people were already using it would be a nice value add and easier for people to work it into their workflow. Source: over 1 year ago

I have a similar app as well called spritz. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does this help anyone?
The effect is almost as good as the one through spritz or similar apps which isolate words from the "visual/sensory noise" of surrounding text. Source: almost 2 years ago

Words to Time mentions (6)

  • Maybe I'm a cynic but...
The study used short stories by Roald Dahl, Agatha Christie, John Updike, Anton Chekov, that maxed out at 4,000 words, which would take less than an hour to read. Source: 12 months ago
  • Anyone have a 5 minute speech for Communication MB? Looking for an example, as I have no clue how to make it 5 minutes long.

  • Play length
I go by word count rather than page in order to determine playing length. Something like this can be helpful. https://wordstotime.com/. Source: over 2 years ago

You can also use https://wordstotime.com/ (again, for english). Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Rust Language Cheat Sheet
Some quick stats - wordcounter.net says the cheatsheet currently has 17735 words. https://wordstotime.com/ tells me that it would take me 2 hours and 16 minutes to read the whole thing. The cheatsheet contains a lot of external links and the like, so we can probably make that 2 hours. Still, that is a lot of heavily condensed text to read, for a cheatsheet. Source: about 3 years ago
