Passwordstate might be a bit more popular than SplashID. We know about 1 link to it since March 2021 and only 1 link to SplashID. You see, it's not a matter of "trust". My password information store doesn't require that I trust any single entity. If any of these moving parts fail, I will shrug my shoulders, take my backup of the information store, and host it at different way.
