12 best mindfulness apps to help you keep calm during a crisis
MyLife Mediation (which used to be Stop, Breathe & Think) asks you to “check in” before meditating. Using a choice of adjectives to describe how you’re feeling, both physically and mentally, we found this was a great way to get into the right mindset after a busy day in the office or on your feet. The app then uses this information to recommend short, guided meditations,...
10 Apps to Become More Mindful and Stress-Free
Stop, Breathe & Think allows you to take five minutes to check in with yourself and how you’re feeling, using that as a springboard to guide your meditation and track your moods. This app also brings mindful breathing to the forefront followed by a thinking process to make you feel more at peace. Stop, Breathe & Think also separates its basic meditations in the free version,...

  • GP on mobile file issue
Alternatively, you could upload it to a PC and try opening it with the free TuxGuitar app (there is an Android TuxGuitar app but it unfortunately doesn't support GPX). Another alternative is to create a free account on soundslice.com and upload the file there to see if SoundSlice can open it. I've just tried both of these things successfully with my GPX file. • Introducing a new sheet music renderer with staff v0.6.0
Hey, kudos from a fellow developer who's also built a sheet-music rendering engine (JavaScript, in my case, for soundslice.com). Source: over 1 year ago
  • A problem I’m having with time signatures
In such a situation I would type it into 'soundslice.com' (it does not cost money) and listen to it there, it can also be slowed down. It might help to clarify, good luck. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Bebop etudes?
You can also use soundslice.com with youtube videos. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Tips for starting Jazz clarinet
I also highly recommend soundslice.com for transcription. You can loop over segments and slow down to 25% without distortion (pitch stays the same). Source: about 2 years ago

  • How to not care about people's reactions and behavior towards you?
That said, first aid techniques for what you describe: An app that let's you write down your emotions. Just something about the process of writing the emotion down makes them easier to care about. I use this app https://stopbreathethink.com/ and just use the check-in process. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Are there any quantifications of what amount of people can actually DO the IFS internal communications without extensive assistance?
Just learning to name the emotions. I used a free app for this: Https://stopbreathethink.com/ It has a check-in process where you choose a couple of emotions to get some recommended meditations. The meditations aren't necessary, just checking the emotions helped a lot. It also has cute stickers if you meditate several times in a row and that kept my simple brain going. I saw that other people used an emotion wheel. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Howard, “Why would Joe Rogan give out medical advice?”
Oh I do! Try Headspace. You have to pay for it, but I am not certain of the current price per month since fortunately my employer now pays for it as a benefit. However, at one time I did pay for it and it was definitely worth it if you try to meditate every day. Only 10 minutes per day and my mood greatly improved in 2 weeks. There are also some free apps such as https://stopbreathethink.com. Source: about 2 years ago
