Smarty mentions (5)

  • International addy formatting
There are online formatters like smartystreets.com which can validate and format your international address. Is this what you are looking for? Source: over 2 years ago
  • I've figured out an elegant solution to those sneaker botters
What I've noticed after watching those sneaker botting videos is that they can make as many emails, proxies and debit cars numbers as they want but.... Not addresses. According to this video they mix up the way their address are written which somehow fools their system into thinking there aren't repeats even though the shoes some how end up at the same address. What these sites really need is a third party service... Source: about 3 years ago
  • AT&T is literally out of their mind.
At one point they used SmartyStreets to validate your address and if it thinks your duplex and your neighbor is the same house, they'll be treated as one so you cannot get fiber now. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Free/ trial geocoding service for ~500k points?
You can give smartystreets.com a try however for that many records it might cost you just a bit. Source: over 3 years ago

  • iPhone physical keyboard from ex-Crackberry guy
I've tried all kinds of portable physical keyboards but for programming on android you can't beat Hackers Keyboard https://github.com/klausw/hackerskeyboard I've got a fork working with Android 14. - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
  • Does any one know where I can download a mobile Na'vi keyboard
I forked the Hacker's Keyboard app on GitHub tweaked it, and compiled it. (using Android Studio). Source: about 1 year ago
  • A pocket sized open-source AR device for the imaginative hacker
Does not work with Hacker's Keyboard (https://github.com/klausw/hackerskeyboard). It closes itself after a few deciseconds, whereas usually the permanent notification feature can be tapped to open and use a keyboard anywhere. Or maybe I haven't tried using it on the new Android 11 yet and yet another of my favorite hacks broke.... Now that I try it elsewhere,... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • Using your phone as a software development platform
I used to code NodeJS services on my phone quite a lot when I was commuting to an office. I used Termux - https://termux.dev/en/. It was brilliant, and worked far better than you'd think it would. The main problem was the keyboard because the stock Android one doesn't support a lot of symbols. I solved that with https://github.com/klausw/hackerskeyboard. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Practicing Linux within Android
When I had it installed a couple of years ago, I found hackers keyboard very useful. It has NOT been updated in a long time. So proceed with caution I guess. Github link. Source: over 2 years ago
