I use this sleep calculator.. You just put in when do you want to wake up and it will tell you when to go to sleep or when you go to sleep it will tell you best times to wake up... I dont realy check what the phases are I just tried this and it worked.. I didnt needed to know more . I use a sunrise alarm clock in combination with my phone alarm clock. Combine that with actually catching up on lost sleep by going to bed early for about a year, and using sleepcalculator.com to make sure I didn’t wake up in the middle of a REM cycle, I don’t have issues any more, even on days where I have to forgo 8 hours.
