What makes your product unique?

SkinSignal's answer

Skinsignal has a huge database of products and cosmetic ingredients. We have collected information about more than 80 000 different products and you can see analysis for all of them. You can find both well-known and less-known skincare products in our database. The ingredient checker on our website allows you to check custom ingredient lists. The Product Comparison Tool provides a great user experience and gives very informative reports.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SkinSignal's answer

Skinsignal is completely free and doesn't have any usage limits. You can enjoy a mobile-friendly layout and modern design. Our database consists of many ingredients and a lot of them have in-depth descriptions which makes the website even more useful. We tried to make Skinsignal not only beautiful but also fast, even on smartphones.

What's the story behind your product?

SkinSignal's answer

Once upon a time, my wife asked me to find information about a strange cosmetic ingredient she saw in her beauty product. I started to dig and found out that many websites don't provide easy-to-read and easy-to-understand information. I decided to make a place where the information about components in skincare products will be presented in a more readable and understandable way. That's how SkinSignal was born.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SkinSignal's answer

Nuxt3 for the frontend part and PHP-based backend.
