  • Fuzor equipment on demand?
If you need the equipment soon, you can look for available vehicle models on sites such as sketchfab and turbosquid. The models can be imported into Fuzor and the parts animated with sequence animation. Source: 6 months ago
  • Tips from an artist
4 - Go to sketchfab (https://sketchfab.com/): You'll find 3D models of the most varied things for free so that you can see them from different angles and allow you to draw assertively. No, you're not going to literally take a photo of these guys' 3D work and paste it into your comic. But you can use their incredible work to help you make a gun, for example, without making perspective errors. Source: 7 months ago
  • How are large vlsi projects' src code organised at big companies?
Most project I know use perforce to store a few terabytes of art data and the game project. Another project used Google Drive for the same purpose. Some groups built entire platforms https://sketchfab.com (Epic Games) or https://github.com/nuxeo-archives/nuxeo-platform-3d (Electronic Arts). - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago

  • Illegal animal stuff online: how to resist the urge
I get nearly all of the models I use on Sketchfab. There are a ton of institutions like museums and colleges that are scanning and uploading chunks of their collections and you can find a ton of incredible stuff that's available to download. Pretty much everything uploaded from the scientific community is under some form of creative commons license, and pretty much anything downloadable is good for personal use. I... • Is an instant mini 11, mini 40 or Polaroid go better?
Polaroids, these days, are really Impossible Project, rebranded as Polaroid. They also now have cameras that shoot different format sizes, but you are no longer limited to using vintage cameras. You can do the full-sized Polaroids, but consistency on the film batch-to-batch may not be as good as with Fujifilm. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Recommendations for polaroid/instant camera
That said, if you really truly want oldtimey Polaroid feel and square prints, I would forego Instax and take a chance on the new Polaroid (fka the Impossible Project) cameras. The main issue will be the expense and consistency of the film. Fuji's much better, but the prints are tiny in comparison to full-sized Polaroids, even the square and wide formats. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • What is the best instant camera?
If you care more about the quality of the instant film print, then I'd say go look at the current Polaroid cameras (rebranded Impossible Project products, really). Source: over 2 years ago
  • I too have pens and cameras
I bought it here, but I think mine was limited edition. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Gift ideas?!
If you're looking for something more in the $100 price range, maybe consider getting a new Polaroid or a Fuji Instax printer for her smartphone. Instant film/polaroid nostalgia can be fun, and this gear is brand new, and relatively low cost. Source: over 2 years ago
