I think that user experience of website builders with wysiwyg and drag and drop UX won over time. Then, as time passed by, website builders become bloated and complex. Recently, Shueisha has started to get into releasing series as soon as they start in Japan - insomuch as they announced a few months ago that starting next year, they would be simultranslating every new Jump+ series. Most of the series they have on MangaPlus are either translated by Viz (their official licensor who they partially own), or Medibang and Media Do.
